Types of Sihir Manifestations.

1. Sihir of Separation.

This is very common form of black magic which aims to separate or make discord between two spouses,or stir up hatred between two friends or two partners.


سُوۡرَةُ البَقَرَة

وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتۡلُواْ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلۡكِسُلَيۡمَـٰنَ‌ۖ وَمَا ڪَفَرَ سُلَيۡمَـٰنُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ كَفَرُواْيُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحۡرَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلۡمَلَڪَيۡنِ بِبَابِلَهَـٰرُوتَ وَمَـٰرُوتَ‌ۚ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنۡ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآإِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ فِتۡنَةٌ۬ فَلَا تَكۡفُرۡ‌ۖ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنۡهُمَا مَايُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيۡنَ ٱلۡمَرۡءِ وَزَوۡجِهِۦ‌ۚ وَمَا هُم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦمِنۡ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ‌ۚ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمۡ وَلَايَنفَعُهُمۡ‌ۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمُواْ لَمَنِ ٱشۡتَرَٮٰهُ مَا لَهُ ۥ فِىٱلۡأَخِرَةِ مِنۡ خَلَـٰقٍ۬‌ۚ وَلَبِئۡسَ مَا شَرَوۡاْ بِهِۦۤ أَنفُسَهُمۡ‌ۚ لَوۡڪَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ (١٠٢)

Surah Al-Baqara

And follow that which the devils falsely related against the kingdom of Solomon. Solomon disbelieved not; but the devils disbelieved, teaching mankind magic and that which was revealed to the two angels in Babel, Harut and Marut. Nor did they (the two angels) teach it to anyone till they had said: We are only a temptation,therefore disbelieve not (in the guidance of Allah). And from these two (angles) people learn that by which they cause division between man and wife; but they injure thereby no-one save by Allah's leave. And they learn that which harmeth them and profiteth them not. And surely they do know that he who trafficketh therein will have no (happy) portion in the Hereafter; and surely evil is the price for which they sell their souls, if they but knew. (102)

Jabir (RadiyAllahu‘anhu) reported that the Prophet s.a.w. said:

 “Iblis would lay his throne on water and would send his brigade of demons. The lowest among them in rank is the one who is most notorious in stirring up fitna. One of the demons would, after a mission,come and say to Iblis, ‘I have done so and so.’ Iblis would reply, ‘You have not done anything.’

Another one would come and say: ‘I have not left such and such person until I separated him from his wife.’ Iblis would come closer to his demon and say, ‘How good you are.’”

– (Muslim in An-Nawawi : 17/157)

Symptoms of Sihir of Separation:

a. A sudden change in attitude from love to hate.

b. Exaggerating the causes of disputes between two people, even though they may be trivial.

c. Changing the mental image that a woman may have of her husband, or changing the mental image that a man may have of his wife; so that the man would see his wife in an ugly way, even though she were beautiful. In reality, it is the demon who is entrusted with the task of performing this type of Sihir is the one who would appear to the husband in her person, but in an ugly way. By the same token, the woman would see her husband in a horrible way.

d. The person affected by Sihir hates anything the other party does.

e.The person affected by Sihir hates the place in which the other party stays. For instance, a husband may be in good mood when he is outdoors, but when he returns home, he feels quiete depressed.

According to Al-Hafidh Ibn Kathir, the cause of separation between two spouses through this Sihir is that each of them appears to the other as an ugly or ill-mannered person. – (Tafsir ibn Kathir: 1/144)

2. Sihir Al-Mahabbah/ At-Tiwala (Love).

Rasulullah s.a.w said:“Ar-ruqa, at-tama’im and at-tiwala are acts of shirik (polytheism).” – (Ahmad)(1/381)

According to Ibn Al-Athir,At-Tiwala is a type of Sihir which makes a man love his wife. The reason why this type of Sihir is classed by the Prophet (saw) as an act of polytheism is because those who have it done for them believe that it has an effect and does the opposite of what Allah (swt) has prescribed. – (An-Nihaya: 1/200)

I would like to emphasise that the ruqyah (treatment) referred to in the above hadith is the one which seeks the assistance of Jinn and devils and consists of acts classed as polytheistic. However, the ruqyah which is based on the Qur’an and lawful supplications of Allah is lawful, according to scholars. It is reported in Sahih Muslim that the Prophet s.a.w. was quoted as saying: “There is no harm in using ruqyah as a means of treatment provided it does not consist of anything polytheistic.”


3. Sihir At-Takhyil (False Appearance of Objects).


سُوۡرَةُ الاٴعرَاف

۞ وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآإِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَلۡقِ عَصَاكَ‌ۖ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلۡقَفُ مَا يَأۡفِكُونَ (١١٧) فَوَقَعَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَبَطَلَ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ (١١٨) فَغُلِبُواْ هُنَالِكَ وَٱنقَلَبُواْ صَـٰغِرِينَ (١١٩)وَأُلۡقِىَٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَـٰجِدِينَ (١٢٠) قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (١٢١) رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ (١٢٢)


Surah Al-Araf

And We inspired Moses(saying): Throw thy staff! And lo! it swallowed up their lying show. (117) Thus was the Truth vindicated and that which they were doing was made vain. (118) Thus were they there defeated and brought low. (119) And the wizards fell down prostrate, (120) Crying: We believe in the Lord of the Worlds,(121) The Lord of Moses and Aaron. (122)

Symptoms

a. A fixed object would appear to be mobile, while a mobile object would appear to be fixed for the viewer.

b. A small object would appear large, while a large object would appear small for the viewer.

c. The false appearance of objects: Under the effect of the magic of Pharaoh’s sorcerers,ropes and rods appeared to viewers as real snakes.

4. Sihir Al-Junoon (Becoming Insane).

Kharija Ibn Salat reported that his paternal uncle went to the Prophet s.a.w. and declared his conversion to Islam. On his way back, his uncle passed by a people who had fettered a lunatic in chains.

They said: “We were told that your companion (the Prophet s.a.w.) has brought good with him. Do you have anything with which to cure our lunatic?”

I recited al-Fatihah (the opening chapter of Qur’an) and he was cured. They gave me one hundred sheep and then approached the Prophet s.a.w. to inform him of it.

He asked: “Did you say anything other than this?”

I replied: “No.”

He said: “Take it,for by my life, some would accept in return for a false Ruqyah, but you have done this with a genuine one.”

According to another narration, “the man cured him by reciting al-Fatihah for three days, day and night; whenever he finished reciting it, he would gather his saliva and spit.”

Symptoms

a. Severe absent mindedness and forgetfulness

b. Confused speech

c. Bulging eyes and deviation of sight

d. Restlessness

e. Inability to do a task regularly

f. Disinterest in one’s appearance

g. ln severe cases,one can tell from a lunatic’s face that he does know where he is going, and he would probably sleep in derelict places.

5. Sihir Al-Khumul (Lethargy).

How this happens.

A saahir(sorcerer/sorceress) would send a Jinn to the targeted person, instructing him to settle in his brain and make him introverted and lonely. The Jinn would do his best to carry out the mission, and the symptoms of this Sihir would appear,according to the strength and weakness of the Jinn entrusted with the task.

Symptoms of sihir Al-Khumul (Lethargy).

a. Love of seclusion

b. Absolute introversion

c. Constant silence

d. Anti-sociability

e. Absent mindedness

f. Frequent headaches

g. Quietness and constant lethargy.

6. Sihir Al-Hawatif (Bad Dreams & Hearing Voices).

Symptoms

a. The patient experiences nightmares

b. The patient sees in a dream as if someone were calling him

c. The patient hears voices talking to him when awake, but cannot see where these voices are coming from

d. The patient hears much whispering (Al-Waswas)

e. The patient is very suspicious of his/her friends and relatives

f. The patient dreams of seeing himself/herself falling from a high place

g. The patient dreams of seeing himself/herself being chased by animals.

7. Sihir Al-Marad (Illness).

Symptoms.

a. Constant pain in one part of the body

b. Epilepsy

c. Paralysis of one area of the patient’s body

d. Total paralysis of the body

e. Disability in of one of the sense organs.

8. Sihir An-Nazif (Bleeding Following Menses).

How it is achieved.

This type of Sihir affects women only. A saahir sends a Jinn to the targeted woman and instructs him to cause her to bleed. To do so, the Jinn enters the woman’s body and circulates in her veins and arteries with the blood. This notion of circulation has long been warned about by the Prophet s.a.w. in the following tradition: “Shaytan circulates in man’s body like blood.” – (Al-Bukhari: Fath Al-Bari: 4/282)

When the Jinn reaches a known vein in the woman’s womb, he stomps it so that the vein bleeds. This fact was also pointed out by the Prophet s.a.w. when Hamna bint Jahsh asked his opinion on the issue of bleeding outside the period of menses, and he said: “Such bleeding is but one of Shaytan’s stomping.” – (At-Tirmidhi)

According to another tradition, the bleeding “is the result of Shaytan’s stomping on a vein rather than from a normal menses.” – (Ahmad and An-Nasai)

Therefore, according to both traditions, a menstruation that occurs outside its normal period is one of the Shaytan’s stomps on one of the womb’s veins.

According to scholars of Fiqh (jurisprudence), an-nazif refers to al-istihadha (continuous menstruation), and according to doctors, it refers to bleeding.

According to IbnAl-Athir, al-istihadha means bleeding following a normal menses. This bleeding may last for months, and the amount of blood could be little or large.

9. Sihir of Impeding Marriage.

The Jinn has two options.

a. If he can enter the girl, then he would cause her to feel uncomfortable with any prospective husband and; thus, turn him down.

b. If he cannot enter the girl, then he would use the Sihir of imagination, from outside. As a result, a suitor would see the girl in an ugly image under the effect of the inn’s whispering, and so would the girl.

Under the effect of this Sihir and under the Jinn is whispering, a suitor, who would have initially agreed to the marriage, would decline after a few days, without any valid reason.

In cases of a strong Sihir, a suitor would, upon entering the house of his prospective wife, feel very uncomfortable and see darkness before him as if he were in prison, and so would never return. During the period of this Sihir, the Jinn may cause the girl to experience occasional headaches.

Symptoms.

a. Occasional headaches, which persist despite medication

b. Severe tightness in the chest, especially between al-’asr and midnight

c. The patient sees the suitor in an ugly image

d. Absent mindedness

e. Anxiety during sleep

f. Occasional constant stomach-aches

g. Pain in the lower part of the back.

10. Sihir regarding Sexual Intimacy.

Al Sihir Ar-rabt (Penile Erection Problem during intercourse), Al- ‘ajz al-jinsi (impotence) and Adh-dhu’f al-jinsi (sexual weakness).

Ar-RabtAl-’ajzal-jinsi (sexual inability / impotence):

The man affected by this type of Sihir feels active and energetic about having sexual intercourse with his wife. His penis is even erected as long as he is distant from his wife. Nevertheless, as he approaches her, his penis shrinks and is unable to have sexual intercourse. It means a man’s inability to have sexual intercourse with his wife, whether he is distant from or near her, as his penis cannot erect.

Adh-du’f al-jinsi sexual weakness):

A man can only have sexual intercourse with his wife after long periods. Sexual intercourse takes place for only a short time; after which the penis looses its rigidity.

Ar-Rabt in Women (sexual frigidity)

Just as a man suffers from ar-rabt (penile erection failure) and is unable to have sexual intercourse with his wife, a woman, too, may suffer from ar-rabt (frigidity).

There are some types of rabt in women:

a. Rabtal-man’(obstruction): It occurs when a woman prevents her husband from having sexual intercourse with her by tightly joining her legs together and obstructing his penis from entering into her vagina. This reaction is automatic and beyond her control, but one young man whose wife was affected by this type of Sihir ,criticised his wife for her response, so she explained that it was beyond her control.

 One day, she told him to put iron shackles between her legs to keep them apart before, starting sexual intercourse. He did that, but it was to no avail. Alternatively, she told him to give her a drug injection if he wants to have sexual intercourse with her. It worked, but only one partner benefited.

b. Rabt at-taballud (lack of sexual feeling): The Jinn entrusted with the mission of Sihir settles in the centre of sexual feeling in the woman’s brain and causes her to lose her sexual feeling, at the moment of sexual intercourse with her husband. As a result, she feels no sexual pleasure and does not respond to her husband. Her body becomes numb even if her husband does what he wishes with her. In this type of Sihir, the glands do not release the fluid which lubricates the vagina, and therefore, the sexual act cannot be achieved.

c. Rabt An-nazif (bleeding at the time of sexual intercourse): This is different from Sihir an-nazif in one aspect. While, rabt An-nazif is confined to the time of sexual intercourse, Sihir an-nazif may last for several days. In this type of Sihir,the Jinn causes heavy bleeding to the targeted woman at the time of sexual intercourse with her husband, and thus prevents the man from having sexual intercourse with his wife. One day, one man, who was a soldier, told me that whenever he came home for holidays, his wife would bleed as soon as he arrived home. The bleeding would last for the holiday period which was approximately five days, but would stop as soon as he went back to work.

Siapa yang biasa dan mudah terkena SANTAU ini?

Saudara pembaca yang di hormati, di dalam sepanjang pengalaman bapak, mangsa-mangsa ilmu hitam ini terdiri dari pelbagai lapisan masyarakat tidak kira miskin, kaya menteri-menteri atau pun orang yang ternama, malahan ada juga yang menjadi sasaran ilmu-ilmu ini terdiri daripada golongan ulama sendiri.

Bagaimana ini boleh terjadi? Ini tidaklah menghairankan jika kita mengingati bahawa mengikut sebahagian ulama, Rasulullah s.a.w. sendiri telah kena pukulan sihir oleh seorang yahudi di zamannya. Untuk sahihnya sila rujuk kepada guru-guru agama yang arif.

Begitu juga dengan Nabi Allah Ayub AS yang menderita berpuluh-puluh tahun akibat perbuatan sihir. Nah, apakan lagi manusia biasa yang sering-sering lupa atau pun lalai di dalam menunaikan perintah ALLAH yang wajib dan ada juga yang menyimpan perasaan hati hasad dengki sesama sendiri. Maka dengan ini manusia tersebut akan lebih senang lagi dikuasai dan dipermain-mainkan oleh Iblis Syaitan laknat terkutuk.

Jadi saudara pembaca yang kami hormati, sejarah ini adalah pedoman yang positif bagi kita untuk menginsafi yang tiada siapa boleh terhindar dari pukulan-pukulan ilmu-ilmu sihir ini kecuali dengan kuasa ALLAH SWT.

Kita jangan lupa bahawa yang selalu mendapat ujian-ujian pahit dari ALLAH adalah orang-orang yang beriman sebagaimana yang diterangkan oleh ulama-ulama selama ini.

Pada Zaman bila popularnya ilmu santau ini ?

Kalau kita tinjau sejarah popularnya ilmu santau ini, kita akan teringat pada zaman penjajahan Belanda di negara jiran yang mana pada masa itu permainan ilmu santau ini mulai berkembang. Mengikut cerita daripada guru-guru silat dari negara jiran, ilmu santau ini juga dipergunakan untuk menyerang atau melumpuhkan penjajahan dikala itu.

Tetapi kita jangan lupa yang pada zaman nabi-nabi dahulu kalanya ilmu sihir ini memang sudah wujud, hanya setiap negeri itu mempunyai nama dan istilah sendiri. Kita mesti sentiasa mengingati yang ini tidak keluar dari konsep ilmu sihir iaitu kerjasama syaitan dan manusia dan tidak boleh dipergunakan di atas apa-apa alasan pun.

Bagaimana pula dengan zaman sekarang? Jawapannya, tetap ada. Mungkin perkara ini berkurangan daripada dahulunya, kerana kekuatan Islam sangat pesat berkembang maka para penganut atau para pewaris ilmu hitam ini secara otomatik tidak dapat mengembangkan kepada generasi yang seterusnya. Jika para pewaris tadi meninggal dunia maka ilmunya ikut serta hilang bersamanya, bukankah saudara pembaca budiman tidak kenal dengan konsep perjuangan Iblis Syaitan ini? Tentu Iblis Syaitan ini akan mengoda merayu kepada orang-orang yang kurang pendedahan kepada pelajaran agama sebagai sahabat dan teman karib bekerjasama untuk menganiaya sesama manusia.

Jadi begitulah kesimpulannya ilmu sihir (Santau) ini susah untuk pupus di permukaan bumi sampailah ke hari ini kerana Iblis Syaitan itu akan berusaha untuk mencari pengamal-pengamal yang baru dengan pelbagai-bagai cara.

Kenapa Si Pewaris SANTAU tesebut berani menganiaya?

Perkara-perkara yang mendorong pengamal ilmu ini untuk menganiaya, ada beberapa faktor yang sesetengahnya telah pun bapak bincangkan di dalam keluaran yang lepas, di antaranya:-

1.     Mencari Wang

2.     Balas dendam

3.     Meningkatkan Wibawa (Kononnya)

4.     Perjanjian dengan ilmunya. Maksudnya ialah ada sebahagian daripada pewaris ilmu santau tersebut dia mempunyai persumpahan dengan ilmunya, yang mana setiap tahunnya si pewaris ilmu mesti melepaskan santaunya kepada orang lain. Jika tidak santau tersebut serta merta memakan keluarga tuannya sendiri.

Satu ciri-ciri orang-orang yang mengamal ilmu syaitan ialah sifat-sifat kesyaitanan akan bersemadi di dalam diri orang itu. Iblis Syaitan memang menyimpan dendam terhadap manusia, maka dengan ini akan mendorong pengamal-pengamalnya supaya membuat angkara-angkara yang akan menjerumuskan si pengamal itu ke Neraka.

Dengan ini seorang yang bersahabat dengan syaitan akan mencerminkan sifat syaitan itu sendiri dan seorang yang mengamal ilmu-ilmu ALLAH akan juga mencerminkan sifat-sifat yang mulia. Dari sini kita dapat mengenali dengan secara kasar  apa amalan dan ilmu seseorang itu dari sifatnya. Biasanya, jahat ilmunya maka jahatlah si pengamalnya, baik ilmunya maka makin lama di amalkan makin baiklah sipengamal itu.

Ingatilah bahawa sifat amarah itu adalah perangai syaitan, maka orang-orang yang tidak dapat menguasai diri mereka umumnya di kuasai syaitan terutama sekali mereka yang terus berdamping dengannya. Dengan ini mereka tidak teragak-agak lagi untuk mempergunakan ilmu-ilmu mereka untuk menganiaya.

Bagaimana untuk mengetahui benda itu datang kepada kita?

Setiap pukulan ilmu sihir ada tanda-tanda yang lahir kepada diri orang yang hendak di hinggapinya. Begitu juga atas kedatangan sihir santau juga mempunyai tanda-tanda yang nyata pada diri orang yang akan kena. Hanya kebanyakan selama ini, kita tidak mengetahui tanda-tanda tersebut sehingga terlambat apa lagi jika ditambah lagi apabila keimanan yang menipis di dada. Tentu saudara pembaca budiman ingin tahu apakah tanda-tandanya.

Bagi ilmu santau angin, baru si Penyantau (tukang sihir) berancang hendak menghantar pukulannya sudah sampai desiran angin yang boleh di dengar di telinga kiri mangsanya.

Tanda-tanda selepas itu pula si mangsa akan berasa menyucuk-nyucuk sedikit di dada sebelah kiri. Tanda-tanda ini akan hilang dalam jangka masa sekejap sahaja.

Apabila sihir ini telah sampai pada mangsa, tanda-tandanya pula adalah seperti berikut:-

        Terasa seketika (dalam masa yang pendek) ada bagaikan tusukan-tusukan benda yang halus pada hujung-hujung jari tangan atau hujung-hujung jari kaki. Ini adalah petanda serangan sudah sampai (sudah masuk kepada diri kita).

        Setelah itu, tanda-tanda berikutnya kita mulai tidur dengan mimpi yang karut-karut yang menggerunkan malahan, ada yang sampai ke tahap mata mengantuk tetapi susah untuk tidur. Adakalanya di dalam mimpi kita di suguhkan hidangan-hidangan, minuman, adakalanya kelihatannya baik-baik adakalanya kelihatannya buruk-buruk. Terus kita pun makan atau minum. Maka  ini bermakna sampailah hajat si penyantau tadi.

        Berselang beberapa hari, adakalanya pada saat itu juga tekak akan terasa gatal, batuk mulai terkeluar dan dada terasa panas, sendi-sendi merasa lemah. Batuk tersebut mungkin sudah mula mengeluarkan darah

Kesemua tanda-tanda di atas ini adalah tanda-tanda kiriman santau (sihir dari jarak jauh).

Bagaimana pula tanda-tanda Santau yang berinduk atau pun yang dilangsungkan dengan tangan kedalam makanan atau minuman yang dihidangkan kepada kita?

Saudara pembaca yang budiman, sebelum kita mencuba makanan atau minuman tersebut, bagi kita penganut agama Islam, jangan lupa membaca BISMILLAH. Disamping kita membaca ayat ini, sebelum kita memegang dengan tangan makanan atau minuman itu, cuba kita gerakan hujung lidah kita ke langit-langit kita agar merasa geli, jika tiada merasa geli maka ini bermakna kita di dalam bahaya. Dan seterusnya jika jari kita menyentuh makanan, minuman tersebut, terasa semut-semut atau mencucuk-cucuk di hujung jari bererti bahaya santau mengancam diri kita.

Dan bagaimana pulak untuk minuman-minuman panas, jika tukang santau meletakkan ramuan santau di dalam minuman panas seperti kopi teh dan lain-lainnya, maka asap yang halus di dalam cawan atau gelas yang tersebut tidak akan naik dan keluar dari cawan atau gelas tersebut. Asap tersebut akan berputar-putar di permukaan gelas itu sahaja.

Jika saudara pembaca dapat melihat kejadian seperti begini bermakna saudara di ancam oleh serangan santau.

Minuman yang begini jika diberikan kepada binatang seperti ikan di dalam akuarium, biasanya binatang tersebut akan menderita dan mati.

Saudara-saudara pembaca majalah Pendekar yang kami hormati, jangan gerun atau gentar, kata pepatah, “tak ajal berpantang maut, “. Dan begitu juga menurut Al Quran, tidak akan memberi bekas apa pun jua kepada kita jika Allah tidak mengizinkan.

Apa benteng yang kuat untuk mengatasinya?

1.     Mengenal tanda-tanda di atas. Apabila melihat tanda-tanda tersebut jangan makan makanan tersebut.

2.     Sebagai orang islam jangan minum atau makan begitu saja, kita mesti berserah diri dan bersyukur kepada ALLAH SWT yang menjadikan segala kejadian di alam ini.

3.     Rajin beramal dengan tulus ikhlas sehingga sihir tidak berani dekat dengan kita. Begitu juga ilmu santau tidak akan mengancam diri kita. Di sini benyak jenis amalan yang boleh kita lakukan dan disyorkan oleh ulama-ulama yang mursyid seperti amalan ayat kursi dan banyak lagi. Yang pentingnya amallah dengan penuh yakin terhadap kekuasaan ALLAH SWT  serta yakin tiada yang dapat memudharatkan selain dengan izinNYA.

Adakala bapak telah melihat dengan mata kepala bapak sendiri di Malaysia ini bekas minuman yang diisi santau tersebut pecah apa bila di sentuh oleh orang yang beramalkan seperti ini.

4.     Lurus hati yang bersih diantara benteng yang penting. Sebaliknya orang yang melakukan santau itu adalah orang yang berhati kotor tidak takut kepadahukum ALLAH SWT di dunia dan akhirat.

Kesimpulannya, yang kotor itu lawannya adalah yang bersih dan ALLAH SWT  bersama orang yang sentiasa mengingatinya.

Dengan ini bapak tidak lupa mengucapkan ribuan mohon maaf kepada para cerdik pandai dan ulama, sepandai-pandai tupai melompat satu saat akan jatuh juga, kenapa demikian? Makin tahu dan pintar kita maka makin banyak cobaan dan cabaran hidup. Begitu juga bahawa ALLAH SWT akan menguji hambanya tidak kira siapa pun juga.

Sihr al-Maraz (Magic for Sickness)

Please keep in mind, it may be the cause of some psychological disorder and might have nothing to do with jinn. However, reciting the verses of Quran will never harm him, but might work if the cause for sickness are jinn [Demons].Jinn can act like poison within the human body. They can become neurotoxins and block signals to different parts of our body. This can cause various types of sickness with fever. Read symptoms bellow for a generic understanding.

How is it done?

A person goes to a sorcerer/witch and requests that a certain person be bewitched. The Witch would ask for the name of the victim, the victim’s mother’s name, and also traces of the victim’s smell, things that have been in contact with the skin/sweat of the victim – like the victim’s hair, garment, clothes, handkerchief, cut nails etc. If that is too difficult to obtain, the witch would perform Sihr/bewitch some water, then ask the client to spill it along the way which that person normally passes by.

If the victim crosses that place of water, knowing his name and mother’s name, he would be affected by Sihr/witchcraft. The client may even use that bewitched water/food to be added to the victim’s food/drink.However, if the witch is provided with clothes/nails, he will use them in forming a CHARM or KEY, to bind a jinn for that specific purpose. He will then tie knots around that charm and tell the client to bury it in a deserted place, a place where no one can find it, or even take it out. For once it’s taken out and opened; the jinn will be freed of that purpose.Once the Jinn picks up the trace of the victim, he is instructed by the witch to settle in the victim’s brain and make him want to stay lonely.

The symptoms vary, depending upon the strength of the Jinn entrusted with the task.

Sihr an-Nazeef (Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding)

Description

An-Nazeef refers to Continuous Menstruation, or Bleeding. This type of witchcraft affects women only. A witch sends a jinn to the targeted woman and is instructed to cause her bleed. To do so, the jinn enters the woman’s body and circulates in her veins and arteries with the blood. Prophet (pbuh) said:“Verily, Satan (Shaytaan/demons) flows in the human like the flowing of the blood.”Refer, Al-Bukhari and Muslim (An-Nawaawi, 14/155)

In another hadith recorded by Al-Bukhari; When Hamma bint Jaash asked the Prophet (pbuh) about the issue of prolonged bleeding even after the period of menses, the Prophet (pbuh) said:“Such bleeding is but one of Satan’s stomping.”Refer, At-Tirmidi, Al-Bukhari.

Imam Ahmad confirms another report that in fact the Prophet (pbuh) said:“The bleeding is the result of Satan’s stomping on a VEIN rather than from a normal menses.”Refer, Imam Ahamd – An-Nasa’i

Both the hadith imply that the continuous bleeding outside its normal period is the effect of a jinn (shaytaan).

Treatment

One should recite the Ruqya from Second Stage of Treatment of Sihr over some Water and advise the patient to wash her body with it for three days.

The bleeding should, by Allaah’s Leave, cease.For ease, one may recite the following over water:

1) Surah Al-Fatiha
2) Ayat-ul-kursi
3) Last three Surahs of Quran

The patient may even drink from this water first, and then add the rest into more water to wash with. Note that the above should be recited in a way that the air from the mouth touches the surface of the water. It may be recited by someone who is in state of Wudhu.

He should praise Allah for it and he should relate it to others. If he sees what he dislikes, it is from Satan. He should seek refuge in Allah from it and not mention it to anyone. Thereby, it will not harm him.”Recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari.

The Witch would ask for the name of the victim, the victim’s mother’s name, and also traces of the victim’s smell, things that have been in contact with the skin/sweat of the victim – like the victim’s hair, garment, clothes, handkerchief, cut nails etc.

If that is too difficult to obtain, the witch would perform Sihr/bewitch some water, then ask the client to spill it along the way which that person normally uses. If the victim crosses that place of water, knowing his name and mother’s name, he would be affected by Sihr/witchcraft. The client may even use that bewitched water/food to be added to the victim’s food/drink.Once the victim is bewitched, the witch then instructs the appointed jinn to appear to theperson both in reality and in his dreams, in the form of savage beasts attacking him; to call him when awake in voices which he recognizes and which he does not; to cause him to suspect people that are close to him and people who are not.

The frequency and strength of the Sihr/Magic may vary, depending upon the strength of the agreement between the jinn and the witch, and also upon the ability of the jinn itself. Symptoms may vary according; they may either be mere whisperings, or may even drive the victim to Lunacy/madness.

It is categorized into two types:

1 – Displaying tricks but with the help of Jinn.

2 – Bewitching the eyes of the crowd to make them see things other than reality.

Fact about the 2nd type:“He [Musa (Moses)] said: ‘Throw you (first)(staves)’. So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and they displayed a great magic. And We inspired to Moses, ‘Throw your staff,’ and at once it devoured what they were falsifying.” [Al-A’raaf: 16-17]

We often notice magician/s displaying the art of magic/witchcraft at places like Gatherings in Villages and Markets. They call them tricks when in fact most of them are with the help of the Jinn. They do, however, display simple tricks in order to keep the people from considering them as Witch/es, when in fact their work has a lot to do with Jinn. The above rope trick is a good example.

Today, we see David Blaine and other magicians, who would sometimes perform tricks that cannot be explained through any natural cause. Yet, they also perform simple tricks that are easy to figure out. The reason why they perform simple tricks is because they don’t want the viewers to delve deep into the mysteries of their oddest tricks. Because once a person knows how magic is performed with the help of Jinn, they would start to question the magician and that would cause more people to believe in the supernatural, and eventually, demote David Blaine.

However, the 2nd type is defined as the magic that makes things appear in a form other than its original one. If you read about the Types and Categories of Jinn from the contents page, you will notice the type called Si’la and Ghoul. These were the type of jinn which would come in contact with travellers mostly, and they would make the travellers see weird objects in the desert of Egypt, which would vanish soon as they were approached.

They are called the Magicians of the Jinn; Magicians who make things appear in forms other than what they really are.I also mentioned the Hadith on how to protect oneself from the above type of Jinn; one can announce Azaan (call to prayers) in a loud voice, or recite Ayat-ul-Kursi (al-baqara 255).The Main issue is that, the second category of this type of magic is used within the other types of magic like – magic of love/separation. It makes either of the couple appear ugly/beautiful to the other. It may also be used in Magic of Lunacy, to drive people mad by making them see illusion/s of objects.

ALLAH mentioned in the Quran in Surah Baqarah verse 102 :“And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon. It was not Solomon who disbelieved, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, “We are a trial, so do not disbelieve [by practicing magic].” And [yet] they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And the people learnt what harms them and does not benefit them. But the Children of Israel certainly knew that whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew.” (al-Baqara: 102)

Jabir reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said:“Iblees would lay his throne on water and would send his brigade of demons. The lowest among them in rank is the one who is most notorious in stirring up Fitna(seduce, tempt, or lure). One of the demons would, after a mission, come and say to Iblees, ‘I have done so and so.’ Iblees would reply, ‘You have not done anything.’ Another one would come and say, ‘I have not left such and such person until I separated him from his wife.’

Iblees would come close to his demon and say, ‘How good you are’”Refer, Muslim in An-Nawawee (17/157)

How is it done?

This type of witchcraft may affect relationships other than the relation between a husband and wife. It may separate a person from his/her:Mother – Father – Brother – Friend,Yet Separating a person from his/her spouse is the most dangerous because, Friends can become friends later on in life again, so may any other relation; But, separating a person from his/her spouse causes a huge conflict between two FAMILIES, not just two persons, and a lifetime hatred.

That is why Satan/Iblees is pleased with the demon that causes it.It is done in a way that a person goes to a sahir/witch and requests that a certain person beseparated from his wife. The Witch would ask for the name of the victim and also the victim’s mother’s name, and also traces of the victim’s smell, things that have been in contact with the skin/sweat of the victim – like the victim’s hair, garment, clothes, handkerchief etc.

If the Sahir uses the threads/pieces of clothes/garment of the victim in producing an object that has knots tied around it, he may tell the client to bury it in a desolate place where no one can open it, for that will release the jinn and unbound it from that specific purpose.Today, the Sahir often ask for a Photo and the mother’s name of the victim, in order for this act to complete.

A sudden change in attitude from love to hateA great deal of suspicion is aroused between the two victimsNo excuses are accepted and there is always a conflict in arguments between the two.The person affect by sihr hates anything the other party does. He tries to stay away from where the other party stays. Like a husband may be in good mood when he is outside home, but feel depressed when at home with his wife.

According to Ibn-Khatir,“The cause of separation between two spouses through this sihr is that each of them appears to the other as an ugly and ill-mannered person.”Refer, Tafseer Ibn-Khatir (1/144)

How is it done?

Arguments between man and wife often happen and are resolved within short times, and everything is back to normal again. However, a woman who cannot show patience would immediately go to a sahir/witch and ask him to work out a sihr/witchcraft which would let her be very much loved by her husband. This may be due to a defect in her faith, or to her ignorance of the fact that it is unlawful.The sahir/witch would ask her to provide a trace of her husband’s scent.

For instance his handkerchief, clothes, garment etc, something that has been in contact with the skin of the victim, and has the slightest scent of the victim preserved on it. The Witch would take a piece or some threads from these items, blow onto them, tie knots around them and ask the woman to bury it in a deserted place. He does that so that nobody could ever come across it or mistakenly get to open it and release the demon bound to that purpose.The Witch may also prepare some water or food/powder with blowing polytheistic incantations over it, and giving it to the woman to add those into her husband’s meal/drink.

He may also blow onto a perfume which the victim may put on.Today, the witches may simply ask for a Photo, and the victim’s mother’s name, in order to work out this practice. Bear in mind, it is not only used to get a Husband to fall in love for the wife, but most of the times it is used to get another woman in love with oneself. It is unlawful and haraam.The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Ar-ruqaa, at-tamaa’im and at-tiwala are acts of polytheism.”Refer, Imam Ahmad (1/381), Al-Haakim (4/418).According to Ibn al-Atheer,‘At-tiwala is a type of Magic which makes a man love his wife.

The reason why this type of Ritual is classed by the Prophet (pbuh) as an act of polytheism is because those who have it done for them believe that it has an effect and does the opposite of what Allah has prescribed.’Refer, An-Nihaaya (1/200)The above ruqya is considered haram and we call it Sihr because it involves the assistance of Jinn and demons, and consists of acts of polytheism.

However, the Ruqya which is based on the Quran and lawful supplications of Allah is lawful. It is when the Prophet (pbuh) said:“There is no harm in using Ruqya as a means of treatment provided it DOES NOT consist of anything Polytheistic.”

Symptoms of Sihr of Love

1) Excessive love and passion
2) Extreme desire to have sexual intercourse
3) Extreme lust at the sight of one’s wife
4) Extreme obedience to one’s wife
